The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept me informed throughout. Fair prices and no unnecessary upselling. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Dear Elite Garage (Southampton), I hope this email finds you well. On Saturday, 6 June 2026 we had our car serviced. I chose the Gold Service because, when I asked about the main difference between the Silver and Gold packages, I was told that the Gold Service included replacement of the fuel filter and that, for my BMW 118i, this type of maintenance was highly recommended. When I collected the car, I asked about the condition of the fuel filter that had (supposedly) been replaced. The person at the front desk (Tom?) was the same person who had recommended the Gold Service to me. When I asked, he replied “it was quite worn." When I got home, I reviewed the service checklist and noticed that the fuel filter replacement had not been ticked off. I called the garage for clarification and spoke again to the same person (Tom?). After checking with his colleagues, he told me that the fuel filter had not been replaced because, on my car, it is integrated into the fuel tank. I understand and am aware that the filter is not replaced when it is integrated into the fuel tank rather than externally mounted. This is also clearly stated on both your website and the service checklist. However, I would have appreciated being informed of this before booking the Gold Service, as I specifically chose it because it included fuel filter replacement - or at least that is what I was led to believe. Had I known this in advance, I would have chosen the Silver package and saved £80! It was quite disappointing that, when I asked about the condition of the supposedly replaced filter, I was given what appears to have been a completely fabricated answer simply to keep me satisfied and send me on my way. To make matters worse, when I called back for clarification and explained why I was unhappy with the experience, the person on the phone (Tom) did not even apologise. Instead, my concerns were simply ignored until I ended the call. With that response, in just few seconds, you lost a customer and gained a negative (1 star) Google review.
