Matt and the team at Hilsea have been very helpful and professional each time I have been in for an MOT or tyres. Prices are very reasonable and the team never try to upsell anything. I'm now a repeat customer and would recommend the garage to anyone who may be a bit nervous about driving up to a garage for help.

The guys at Elite are an absolute gem, twice in the last 2 weeks I've been here, once with a nail in my tyre, they checked my tyre for me and said all was ok, and the 2nd time for my mot, they are polite and cuteous and spoke to me and not at me. I visited the Portsmouth store to have a tyre supplied and fitted . When on my way home after the installation I spotted my key on the outside of the vehicle on the windscreen, see below pictures. This is completely unacceptable, I left the keys in the vehicle in case you needed to move it, why were they removed? And if there was a good reason to remove them why weren’t they put somewhere safe! If this is the standards shown to customer vehicles and possessions then I would question the ability to carry out vehicle repairs to a reasonable standard! And this was proven, by the fact that I asked the tyre fitter to let me know what he found as I was unsure why I was losing pressure but had a feeling it was because of a pothole I had hit, I then left him to it and went to the waiting area. 5 mins later the fitter came in and asked the man on reception what was wrong with my car! I had literally just told him. I was never given any possible explanation as to why I have been losing pressure as I asked. I have called the store to be told that the key were removed so that the vehicle didn't start itself. Vehicles don't just start themselves, that isn't a thing. And the fact is, I was still able to start and drive away with the keys outside the vehicle so removing they key made no difference anyway! The guy on reception that seems to run the branch is very good and I cannot complain about him, however my experience today has not been good and will not be returning.

First time using this garage after my car’s suspension spring snapped, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, they were really helpful with their response and booking process, making a stressful situation much easier to deal with. During the repair, an additional part unfortunately broke, but the garage immediately brought it to my attention, took full responsibility, and covered the entire cost of putting it right. It would have been easy to pass it off as pre-existing damage, so I really appreciated their honesty and professionalism. Great service, transparent communication, and a team you can trust — I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
