Had my MOT done here recently and was really impressed. Really friendly, helpful and trustworthy garage. Cameron went above and beyond, topping up my oil and managing to reset the service warning on my Mini Cooper, which another garage couldn’t fix. He also took the time to explain a few things about the car, which was really helpful. The reception staff were also very welcoming and let me wait inside on the sofa while it was pouring with rain outside Would definitely recommend!!
Got clutch and auxiliary belt replaced. Very good price and done gas. Staff also very friendly.
Took my car for a mot a few months ago, was my first time there. It was running well beforehand, upon receiving a failed test result, the car had serious issues that weren’t present before. We had told them if it starts to over heat, to turn it off and stop the testing (it’s an old car) but obviously the request was ignored. Took it to a different garage for a diagnoses, and diagnosed a warped cylinder head. Cheers 👍🏻
Came across C&G autos whilst looking for someone to fit a wetbelt on a Ford Ecosport. This, I found out, is a notoriously hard job and a few garages refused to do it. C&G gave me a competive quote and were easy to get to, so I booked it in. There was a minor issue afterwards related to the job but this was sorted straight away. The guy I spoke to today really knows his stuff and took his time to make sure the issue was sorted properly. Can't fault them. Overall they are a friendly bunch of guys, service is great, good pricing and 100% trustworthy. Will definitely use again for any other car problems.
