South Coast Mobile Mechanic

Last year John did my back discs on my i10 for sensible price - very pleased. It was an advisory on my MOT. He did a service in June this year and had a look round my car ready for it's MOT when he did it's annual service - just to see if anything stood out needing doing - no guarantees he said but looks ok. I have to say I'm very pleased with John's professionalism, punctuality and work that he's done. The thing is he trustworthy. I had previously been with a garage that changed it's ownership and they advised me I needed a new clutch which I thought was odd. I asked if they could adjust it and was advised that an i10 couldn't be adjusted. Mmmmm! Alarm bells rang. So I looked up mobile mechanics and found John with excellent reviews. He took one look at the clutch and said "you don't need a new clutch" and then promptly lifted my car bonnet and showed me the knob to adjust the clutch (of course I wouldn't adjust it - but there it was in all it's glory). Car just passed it's MOT at Halfords with no advisories. So exceptionally pleased with John's work on my car.

My power steering had gone and I called Louie on a Sunday and he came out that evening, diagnosed the problem and came back the next day and sorted it out. Back on the road now. A friendly and very trust worthy guy. Would HIGHLY recommend if you need a mechanic. Thankyou Louie 👏

Called out to investigate an ignition issue - quickly diagnosed and was able to source & fit replacement parts the same day, which was ideal. Price for investigation and rectification were very reasonable.

Contacted john regarding a problem with my ford transit not starting and only turning over for a couple of seconds came out on the day arranged diagnosed the problem and then arranged a time to repair came out on the day fixed it all running really well would definitely recommend south coast mobile mechanic and have to some work colleagues. John needs more than 5 stars! I've always found mechanics, you get lucky or you don't with my life experience and definitely hit the jackpot. From the first call John was nice to chat to and he said he would be able to help with my car as the back wheels were locked. He said he would order the brakes as it may need new ones. He quoted me the price over the phone. When he went to the job, he was able to take the wheels off and get the brakes dislodged. He did the job really quickly and was very honest so only charged for the work that he had done. Said that he wouldn't need to replace them and made sure the brakes worked by driving it and double checking. Super appreciative and we will be using him again. Would recommend!
