About the company
Motest is a family owned and run company, long established as one of the South East's major MOT testing groups. It has 10 branches across Hertfordshire, West London (Middlesex), Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire and Surrey. John Ball is the Managing Director. Motest is a member of the RMI, Motor Codes and Trust my Garage.
Apart from youngsters going through training, Motest only employs fully qualified technicians, many with ATA diagnostic certification, and all branch managers are highly experienced. Services include Toyota servicing in Surrey and Hampshire, Audi servicing in Camberley, and MG Rover and Mini servicing in Farnham and Swindon, alongside fleet maintenance, major repairs and servicing. Its philosophy is to only do the agreed work and seek customer approval before any additional work is undertaken.

Just had my car's toyota's MOT done at this mechanic, i have to say, 10/10 excellent service, reasonable price, and fixed my advisories right there at the shop and left with my pass. I recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish. Booking was easy, communication was great, and the whole process was smooth and professional. My car had a major service and MOT, and I was kept informed throughout with phone calls explaining any additional work that was recommended. Everything was clearly documented, and all paperwork was provided when I collected the car. A special THANK YOU to Andy, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout. AVOID this scam garage. I did my MOT with them, said they fix my oil leakage, which costed me 400£, already a scam. Couldnt provide the fixing details. What’s worse was I found out my car still has the oil leaking problem and I tried to call them back. After noticing me calling for a problem, the man pretended to not able to hear me and never pick up the call again. What a joke. Already calling my solicitor. Good luck. 😇
I took my car in to have my screen wash jets looked at as they weren't working. I was informed that it could be a long job as they had to take bumpers off etc. Once they had a look at it they realized that the pipe had just come loose and had put it back on for me. This was done free of charge. Fair play to them.
