I had a great experience with Marek. My Mercedes had an issue with the EGR system and I originally thought I needed to replace the whole thing. I even bought four different parts to cover everything. First of all, I would question if all the reviews are genuine or not. I hired Merek to fix my car because I am very busy with work and wanted to save time. Instead, he wasted a whole week of my time and I still had to do the repair myself. The Problems: Bad Tools: He brought an old scanner that didn't work. My own device worked better than his "professional" one. Wasting Time: I already knew the turbo was broken. He spent the whole visit making phone calls and making excuses not to buy the parts that were available. It felt like he was just trying to stay longer to get paid for the call-out fee. Too Many Excuses: My wife needed the car for work urgently. He blamed the weather for not starting the job. Even when I offered him a tent to work under, he still made excuses and told me to find someone else. The Result: He is okay for very simple things like changing a battery, but he cannot handle a real repair like a turbo. I wanted to pay him to do the work so I wouldn't have to, but after he wasted 7 days of my time, I had to fix the car myself. He should have told me from the beginning that he doesn not do this kind of no . Don't hire him if you are in a rush. Look for a real mechanic instead.
