RJ Mechanics MK

Really disappointing experience.. I took my car to RJ Mechanics in Bletchley after the engine warning light came on and I noticed a strange rattling noise when accelerating. I was told they would carry out a diagnostic check and contact me once they had worked out what was wrong. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the repair. When I first arrived, their was a young girl working at the front desk was quite rude and seemed irritated when I asked questions about how long the repair would take. At one point, she was swearing while speaking to me, which I found completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I was eventually told that an engine component needed replacing. I agreed to the repair and paid for the work, but after collecting the car, the warning light came back on later that day and the rattling noise was still there. When I contacted the garage about it, I was told I would need to bring the car back in and may have to pay for further work. I was frustrated because I had already paid for the original repair and expected the problem to be resolved. Overall, I was really unhappy with the experience, particularly the lack of communication and the way I was spoken to at the front desk. I wouldn’t personally return to this garage.

Absolutely outstanding service from R J Mechanics. I called first thing this morning to ask about an air conditioning regas, and they kindly said I could pop straight in and they would do it while I waited. The whole process was quick, professional and hassle-free. They also charged less than both Halfords and the other local garages I contacted, all of which couldn't fit me in for around three weeks. The team were friendly, honest and explained everything clearly. They even provided a printout showing the amount of refrigerant recovered and the recharge carried out, which I really appreciated. It's refreshing to find a local garage that offers excellent customer service, fair pricing and doesn't keep you waiting for weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend R J Mechanics and will definitely be returning for future servicing and repairs. Thank you again!

Highly recommend RJ MECHANICS, had a lot of work done on my car lately. Thanx to RJ MECHANICS, my car is all fixed. They found the issues, and then kept in contact. They didn't do any work on my car without permission, and they inform you with cost. Then you the customer makes the decision. Many Thanx RJ MECHANICS for all that you have done.
