Peterborough Mobile Tyre (PMT Auto & Tyre Solutions)

Really disappointed, as I've used this company before and previously had a good experience. My initial conversation yesterday with them was entirely through WhatsApp, where I clearly asked for a quote for a replacement tyre. They asked for my tyre size and location, which I provided so they could give me a price. Instead of sending me a quote and waiting for my approval, they booked the job and claimed technicians had already been dispatched without my consent. I then had to call them to stop them sending someone out, as I had never agreed to the work. Rather than apologising for the misunderstanding, I was told they assumed I wanted the service because I'd used them before. That isn't an acceptable assumption to make. Every job requires the customer's agreement, and I never accepted a price or authorised a mobile call-out. In fact, my WhatsApp messages show I was still asking whether bringing the car to their premises would reduce the cost, so I was clearly still considering my options. The person I spoke to on the phone was rude and dismissive, and after I challenged what had happened, they stopped responding to my messages altogether. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company, and I won't be using them again.

PMT came so fast to change my car tyre! Within the hour after the RAC wanted to leave me on the roadside for (what would have been) around 7.5 hours! Highly recommend to anyone! So easy to book, pay & service was great!

Excellent service from PMT Auto & Tyre Solutions. I needed a mobile tyre call-out, and everything was quick and hassle-free. Nuno was friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout. The technician arrived promptly and got me back on the road in no time. Highly recommend—thanks to Nuno and the team!

Quick response after completely flat tyre from hitting massive pot hole and RAC told me I'd have to wait 4 hours just to be towed to nearest garage. Realised when they fixed the front the back was damaged too.Mechanic didn't have another spare on van so pumped it up and followed me to local garage to check I made it safely. All at a very reasonable cost. Can't recommend highly enough.

I called PMT after picking up a puncture on a Sunday afternoon. They were extremely helpful and immediately gave me tyre options, prices and availability. After confirming these details a technician arrived at my home a few hours later and quickly and efficiently fitted two new tyres. Great service, communication and really saved the day!

Absolute angels- saved us when we were stranded on the side of the A1 when our tyre split. The lady on the phone was lovely, helpful and efficient, the cost was reasonable and the technician was with us in 45 mins. He was also brilliant, calm, reassuring and efficient too. 20 mins later we were back on the road. Cant recommend highly enough- five stars. 🤩

Last night we hit a huge pothole on the A605 that ruined two tyres. We called Peterborough Mobile Tyres based on their excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. From initial contact all the way through to fitting. The service was super quick in total just over an hour. Big shoutout to Maidi coming out on a Friday night to help us get back on the road. I hope I’d never need the service again in the nicest way possible 😂 but if I did they will be the company to call.
