Mobile Mechanic Pete - Mobile Vehicle Repairs, Servicing and Diagnostics

Diagnostic work, servicing and repairs are carried out at the customer's chosen location rather than in a workshop, and the convenience of that arrangement is what comes through most strongly in the feedback. Pete arrives with the equipment and components needed for the job, often at short notice, and one account describes him attending on a Friday evening soon after being contacted. Instead of the vehicle being booked in and left for a day, faults are traced and put right on site. Communication features heavily, whether through telephone guidance on possible causes ahead of the visit or updates while arrangements are made.

The standard of workmanship attracts repeated praise: front brake discs and pads were fitted with the hubs cleaned and prepared rather than simply bolted into place, a diagnostic check was performed on a Volkswagen, and the source of an oil leak was identified following an earlier MOT. Customers note that the sum agreed beforehand was the sum charged, with nothing added later, and describe Pete as courteous, obliging and ready to go out of his way to assist. Brake and diagnostic jobs recur across the accounts.
